Young Artist Experience (YAE) is a Canadian Charitable non-profit organization. Currently celebrating its 15th season, it is an interdisciplinary summer program for talented young chamber musicians.

In addition to music study, workshops and practice with Canadian music artists, YAE’s curriculum delves into the inter-relationships of music with sciences, humanities, arts and social responsibility. We seek to help our students expand their worldview, acquire new interpersonal and life skills, and think about their role in the world as artists – now and in the future.

Students leave YAE with a new found confidence and a greater understanding of how music can influence, and is influenced by, the many other areas of life. They gain an appreciation for how they can each make a difference in their world, and some ideas of the way they can do so.

Tuition fees do not nearly cover the cost of the program. That’s why we need your help to keep YAE as accessible as possible to all students. Please support this innovative program. You can be assured your contribution is being put to careful and meaningful use in accordance with the guidelines of the Canada Revenue Agency.
