“YAE was a fantastic experience. I have participated in a number of different music programs over the summers of my high school career, and YAE was definitely the most enjoyable. It was at YAE that I first started to consider pursuing a career in chamber music. Not only did the faculty at this camp teach me and the other students valuable chamber music skills, but they were also were incredibly inspiring. As a team, faculty and students of YAE explored different ways to participate in the arts. We learned to dance, act, and African drum, and (of course) play in string ensembles. I have never before experienced such variety at a music program, and it was great! At YAE, music was fun, and I think that every string student should sign up for this program!”

“It was tons of fun . . . the hilarious and zany introduction by the amazing faculty . . . two memorable and exciting weeks. To top it off, we threw a wonderful gala concert for everybody and said our tearful goodbyes after. This is one of the most interesting and enjoyable summer programs and the small number of students allowed us to get to know each other and get along very well. The program also had a lot of amazing faculty and we were fortunate to work with all of these incredible people. All in all, YAE has been a memorable and delightful experience and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in chamber music.”

“An amazing program! I highly recommend it to anyone who's up for pushing themselves out of their comfort zone and up for learning a little more about who they are as a person. Amazing faculty, amazing campus, an unforgettable experience! I'm going back for my 2nd year in a row this summer!!“
